We and all our partners are committed to do everything we can, to offer you a safe holiday experience. During outdoor activities the risk of contamination is naturally low, but during a multiday tour itís pretty impossible to keep social distancing within the group. So when joining a group tour, you have to accept the fact that you will be in close contact with group members and guides. However, contacts with other people will be few and social distancing to them is possible. Itís also recommended to wear a face mask when in contact with other people.

The core functions to provide you a corona-safe holiday:
Each participant has to pay attention to good hand and respiratory hygiene.
Antibacterial hand gel will be provided when washing hands is not possible.

Vehicle transfers
Usually groups have private transfers. If the transfer is shared with two groups (in winter) groups are seated separately (free rows between groups). Face mask required if two groups share the transfer.

Accommodation and meals
Special attention will be given to cleaning bath rooms, door handles and other high use areas. Accommodation will be organized so that as many as possible can stay in twin rooms (even in single rooms if room capacity allows). Itís recommended to share the room with the same room mate throughout the tour if possible.

Most accommodations are small family run places where all rooms are booked for our group only. If there were other people at the same time (eg. hotels), groups would be seated separately during meals.

Sleeping bags and mattresses
On wilderness huts sleeping bags are used, for which we will always provide mummy liners that are washed after each user. As an extra measure sleeping bags will be stored for minimum one week each time they have been used.

Your responsibility
You can join the tour only in good health! If you have any symptoms that are typical to corona virus, you have to stay at home. Please note that in this case a free cancellation is not possible so itís essential to purchase a travel insurance.

Procedure if a guest shows COVID symptoms during a tour
If you suspect that you might contracted COVID-19, use the Coronavirus symptom checker at to first assess your condition, if possible. If the symptom checker advises you to contact a health care professional, your guide can help you with that. If a testing is required, a taxi to the nearest health center must be taken at clientís own expense. After testing you will be asked to quarantine until the results are reported.
